2015 -  CBRE Clarion Recognized as 2015 Real Estate Investment Trust Manager of the Year by Institutional Investor
The Institutional Investor U.S. Investment Management Award recognized CBRE Clarion for its exceptional performance, risk management and service. Award winners were determined by the editorial staff at Institutional Investor based on results from a survey of U.S. institutional investors.
 

2013 -  T. Ritson Ferguson, CEO and Co-CIO, awarded  NAREIT's 2013 Industry Achievement Award

The National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT) presented its 2013 Industry Achievement Award to Ritson Ferguson, CEO and Co-Chief Investment Office of CBRE Clarion Securities.  The NAREIT Industry Achievement Award is presented annually to professionals serving the REIT industry whose acumen and integrity have helped heighten awareness and understanding of the value of REITs and publically traded real estate.   

2011 - New Partnership with Global Leader in Real Estate Services and Investment Management and expands global footprint

ING Clarion Real Estate Securities announces a new partnership with CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc . (NYSE: CBG), and changes its name to CBRE Clarion Securities.  As part of the transaction, the firm expands its global footprint, with the addition of an office in Sydney, Australia.      

2009 - Celebrating 25 Years of Investment Performance

The firm’s flagship U.S. Real Estate Securities Strategy celebrates 25 years of investment performance.

2007 - Global Real Estate Manager of the Year*

ING Clarion Real Estate Securities is presented with the Global Real Estate Manager of the Year Award, by Professional Pensions, the leading UK publication for the occupational pensions industry.

*Professional Pensions, the leading UK publication for the occupational pensions industry, recognizes the leading and most innovative investment managers serving UK pension schemes with its Specialist and Alternative Investment Manager Awards.  ING Real Estate was named Global Real Estate Manager of the Year for 2007.  The awards were based on performance data from Mercer Investment Consulting over a three-year period, ending June 2007, and submissions, judged by a panel of industry experts, for innovative solutions, good and solid performance, and exceptional service standards.

2006 - Offices Opened in the UK, Hong Kong, and Japan

Satellite offices opened in response to a growing universe of companies and global client list

2004 - U.S. Investors Offered the First Closed-end Fund of Global Real Estate Securities

Listed on the New York Stock Exchange, IGR was the first income-focused global real estate securities closed-end fund offered to U.S. based investors. 

2001 - Launch of our Flagship Global Real Estate Strategy

ING Clarion Real Estate Securities began managing portfolios of global real estate securities in November of 2001.   

1998 - Acquisition Provides Global Scope and Resources

Clarion CRA Securities was acquired by the ING Real Estate Group, creating ING Clarion Real Estate Securities.

1995 - Merger Expands U.S. Research Platform

CRA becomes an affiliate of Clarion Partners; a direct real estate investment firm located in New York City, forming Clarion CRA Securities, L.P.

1991 - Founding Partners Join Forces

Kenneth D. Campbell, T. Ritson Ferguson, and Jarrett B. Kling start up a boutique asset management firm dedicated to managing listed real estate securities named Campbell Radnor Advisors (CRA). 

1984 - U.S. REIT Track Record Begins

Founding partner Kenneth D. Campbell began managing listed real estate securities portfolios for institutional investors. 

1969 - First edition of the Real Estate Stock Review published by Kenneth D. Campbell

Kenneth D. Campbell founded Audit Investments and published the Real Estate Stock Review, one of the industry’s first research publications focused on the universe of U.S. listed real estate securities.
